1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sideline mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this application.
Some Sideline features may use YouTube API Services or display YouTube content. By using those features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge that YouTube and Google may process information as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
2. Beta Software
Sideline is currently in beta testing. The application is provided "as is" and may contain bugs, errors, or other issues. By participating in the beta program, you acknowledge that:
- The app is in active development and may change significantly
- Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
- Service interruptions may occur
- Your feedback helps us improve the application
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of Sideline, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
Where required by applicable law or platform rules, Sideline may process age-related signals or apply age-appropriate compliance measures. Our current use of these signals is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the app
- Reproduce, distribute, or reverse engineer the application
- Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
5. Intellectual Property
The Sideline application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Third Half, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
YouTube, Google, and their licensors retain all rights in YouTube API Services, YouTube content, YouTube brand features, and related data. Sideline does not grant you rights to copy, modify, download, distribute, or otherwise use YouTube content except as permitted by YouTube's terms and the functionality presented in Sideline.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to Sideline. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating the service.
If Sideline later supports actions that upload, post, update, delete, or otherwise change content on YouTube on your behalf, we will identify the action and request your express consent before performing it. You are responsible for ensuring any content you submit or upload complies with applicable law, third-party rights, the YouTube Terms of Service, and YouTube Community Guidelines.
7. YouTube API Services
Sideline's use of YouTube API Services is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and related YouTube guidelines. You agree not to use Sideline to interfere with YouTube features, obscure YouTube attribution or notices, circumvent YouTube access controls, abuse quotas, or violate third-party rights.
You may revoke Sideline's access to Google or YouTube account data through your Google security settings. Our Privacy Policy explains our YouTube API data practices, deletion process, and revocation options.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the application at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Third Half, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Your continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
